“Lord, if it is You, Peter replied, “command me to come to You on the water.” “Come,” said Jesus. (Matthew 14:28,29)

Pointe shoes can be uncomfortable.
They get to the sensitive areas of your toes.
They remind you that you have toenails and that these need to be trimmed just right.
But when you get dancing in them, you find yourself dancing at new heights.
An ordinary dance becomes extraordinary when the dancer puts her pointe shoes on.
He wants to take you to the heights.
He wants to lift you up to see and understand that He created you for so much
Keep dancing with Him.
When Peter stepped out of the boat onto the water, he was uncomfortable.
He didn’t know how scary waves could be until he saw them from up close.
He felt vulnerable and out of his comfort zone there on the water.
But Jesus was there on the water and so there was no better place Peter could’ve been.
Keep dancing. Jesus is on the water dancing with you.
“He makes my feet like the feet of a deer; he causes me to stand on the heights.” (Psalm 18:33)
